A Report on Listening Strategies, Materials and Methods in a University Advanced Listening & Speaking Class

Abstract

This brief narrative examines materials and methods used in a university advanced listening class. It reports on the introduction and implementation of language learner strategies and confirms the improvement of learners' listening abilities as recorded in the results of a pre and posttest. Recommendations for improving methods and materials are provided.
